Bus line 384, which previously operated between Druzhba-2 district and Sofia Airport, has been officially discontinued, announced the Center for Urban Mobility.
Bulgarian Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski has reiterated that the Trakiya highway connecting the capital Sofia and the Black Sea city of Burgas would not be ready for launch until Monday, July 15.
Oresharski has thus refuted former PM Boyko Borisov, who stated earlier on Friday that the Socialist-led government has gratuitously delayed the official launch of the highway amid the busy holiday season.
“How could I launch the Trakiya highway without permission? It will be ready on Monday,” Oresharski told reporters.
The construction of the highway started in the distant 1974, but was stopped several times due to lack of money. Allocated EU funds made its completion possible. The total length of the Trakiya highway will be 360 km.
