Over 10 kilograms of drugs have been seized by specialists from the SDVR.
The Sofia City Prosecutor's Office has initiated pre-trial proceedings against an unknown offender who is an official of the Commission for Prevention and Ascertainment of Conflict of Interest.
The investigation concerns malfeasance in office, as described in Article 283 of Bulgaria's Penal Code, according to the press office of the prosecuting authority.
As part of the probe, the authorities seized digital evidence and physical evidence from the premises of the Commission on July 9.
No more details can be disclosed at this stage of the pre-trial proceedings.
More details on the case are to be released next week after the evidence is examined.
