Some 861 years of unused leave has accumulated by civil servants in Bulgaria's state administration.
This is the 314,541 days accumulated by 41,931 civil servants, according to the 2012 report on the state of the adminsitration, passed Wednesday by cabinet.
According to the report, there are on average 7.5 days of unpaid leave per civil servant, which is a slight rise.
113,575 people currently work in Bulgaria's state administration, which has however 144,875 F.T.E. spots.
They worked at a mean salary for September 2012 amounting to BGN 865 per month.
