A total of eight new lawmakers took oath of office in Bulgaria’s Parliament Friday.
The reshuffle was made after eight elected Members of Parliament became part of the country’s new Socialist-led government on Wednesday.
Six of the new MPs are from the Bulgarian Socialist Party, while the other two are from the liberal Movement for Rights and Freedoms.
One new MEP will represent the Bulgarian Socialist Party in the European Parliament.
Marusya Lyubcheva will replace MEP Kristian Vigenin, who was sworn in as the country’s Foreign Minister on Wednesday.
