Romania Gets Ahead of Bulgaria Again: PM Expects Visa-Free Travel to US by October
Romanian Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu has announced that Romanians will likely no longer require visas to travel to the United States by October of this year
The Chinese government has officially said it will help in trying to persuade North Korea to give up its nuclear program, after a visit of US State Secretary John Kerry to China.
"We maintain that the issue should be handled and resolved peacefully through dialogue and consultation,” China’s State Councilor Yang Jiechi said Saturday evening in Beijing at a joint press event with Kerry, writes the Washington Times.
“To promptly address the Korean nuclear issue serves the common interests of all parties. It is also the shared responsibility of all parties,” said Yang.
This marks a significant advance towards unity between the US and China regarding the steeped-up militant rhetoric by North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
The Chinese goverment has however not clarified what the methods it will use in communicating with North Korea will be.
