France Says Tanker Explosion was Attack

The French Foreign Ministry has announced that an explosion on board a French oil tanker off the coast of Yemen appears to have been caused by an attack. A French investigator who inspected the holed and gutted vessel said he had discovered debris that may have come from an attacking boat. "The first results of the inquiry by French, Yemeni and American inspectors lead us to think that the explosion on the French tanker Limburg on October 6 was due to an attack," a ministry statement said.
