UK musician Robin Gibb, founder and key performer in the world-famous band Bee Gees has fallen into coma, report British media.
Gibb's doctors fear that he might have only a few days left to live and may never wake up again.
In October 2010 it was revealed that Robin is suffering from liver and colon cancer, but while doctors for a long time believed he is recovering, they now suspect a relapse.
The musician, who has also developed pneumonia, is hospitalized at a ward in Chelsea, West London.
Robin Gibb co-founded the Bee Gees near the end of the 1950s with his twin Maurice and other brother Barry.
The three brothers were the core members of the Bee Gees, and Robin was pivotal in penning and singing some of their most famous hits.
Robin Gibb has also a successful career as a solo performer.
