Russian Army Captures Key Village in Luhansk Region
The village of Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region of Ukraine has reportedly been seized by the Russian army
A Russian vice-Minister of Tourism has arrived in Bulgarian Black Sea city to help the case of the 500 stranded Russian tourists at Burgas Airport.
The flights of the Russian tourists to Moscow and St. Petersburg were cancelled Friday due to a EUR 3.5 M debt of their tour operator Alma Tour, to airline Bulgaria Air.
Some 200 tourists have returned to flats they own in the region, while the remaining 300 have been housed in the Bulgaria Hotel in Burgas.
The Alma Tour company have committed to covering the expenses of its tourists until the case is settled.
According to Russian honorary consul in Burgas Tonko Fotev, the Russian vice-Minister will lead Saturday negotiations with relevant Bulgarian authorities to aid his compatriots.
There is yet no information about when or how the tourists' case will be resolved.
