The football teams of Bulgaria and Switzerland failed to score goals during in the crucial Euro 2012 qualifier that each of the teams had to win Saturday in Sofia.
During the first half of the game the Bulgarian team was the stronger and had many opportunities to mark a goal, which it failed to materialize.
The second half marked a surge for the Swiss, who also failed to take advantage.
Both teams needed a win to keep sound chances of qualifying.
In the other game of Group G of the qualifiers, England beat Wales 0:2 on an away game.
This leads the English to the top of the group with Montenegro second, both teams having 10 points out of 4 games.
Switzerland and Bulgaria are third and fourth, respectively, with both teams having 4 points out of 4 games.
