The Bulgarian Football Union is still deliberating on the choice of team Bulgarians will face at their next friendly match, scheduled for February 9.

The desire is for an attractive European adversary, as the national team is currently facing a tough race in the Euro 2012 qualifiers.

Nevertheless, feasible choices under consideration this far are Macedonia, Estonia, Latvia, as well as African teams Cameroun and Zambia.

Macedonian media have reported that their team has almost reached an agreement with the Bulgarians.

In its latest friendlies, the Bulgarian football team won against Saudi Arabia 0:2 and lost to Serbia 0:1.

In the Euro 2012 qualifiers Group G, Bulgaria is currently fourth among five teams, with one win from three games. The other teams in the group are Montenegro, England, Switzerland and Wales.
