A strong thunder storm hit the Bulgarian capital Sofia on Thursday afternoon.
In some parts of the capital, the torrential rain has turned into hail.
Downtown Sofia has been flooded and the public transport has been blocked. Pedestrians have experienced difficulties when crossing the streets.
Officials have warned that the rains might cause a 7-8 min delay of public transport.
Other parts of the capital have also suffered from the flooding.
30l/sq.m have fallen on the area of Boris' Garden, while only 17l/sq.m. have fallen in the “Mladost 1” district.
