The Strong Earthquake in Taiwan Caused Equipment Damage at TSMC Chipmaker
The intense earthquake that rattled Taiwan early Wednesday, led to equipment damage at the semiconductor giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC)
Early Saturday morning two weak earthquakes were detected in different parts of Bulgaria, causing no damages, reported the European Mediterranean Seismological Centre.
The first had a magnitude of 2.5 with an epicenter between south-eastern towns of Radnevo and Topolovgrad.
The second was with a magnitude of 3 with an epicenter near south-western towns of Gotse Delchev.
There are no signals for damages caused by the tremors, reported Bulgarian authorities.
Five aftershocks of the first earthquake were reported by the Seismology Section of the Bulgarian Academy of Science.
