The Strong Earthquake in Taiwan Caused Equipment Damage at TSMC Chipmaker
The intense earthquake that rattled Taiwan early Wednesday, led to equipment damage at the semiconductor giant Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC)
An earthquake with a 3.5 magnitude has been registered 110km to the south of the Bulgarian capital, reports BTA.
The information was released by the seismologist on duty at the Geophysical Institute of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (BAN).
The quake was registered at 5.15 pm Bulgarian time in the vicinity of the Bulgarian town of Gotse Delchev and the villages of Sarnitsa and Satovcha (to the south of the capital Sofia).
BAN experts explain that other, smaller quakes, may occur.
