US Specialists Inspect Bulgaria's Graf Ignatievo Air Base Ahead of F-16 Deployment
Specialists from the United States have conducted an inspection of the repair work at Bulgaria's air base near Graf Ignatievo
Representatives of some of the world's largest universities are coming to Bulgaria to present their institutions, with Oxford and Cambridge making their debut visit.
An expo, "The Begin Education Fair", will take place on Saturday at the Radisson Hotel in the Bulgarian capital Sofia.
A number of universities from Bulgaria, Britain, several other European countries and the US will be presented at the event, which is organized by the international Begin Group.
The purpose of the exhibition is to promote these academic institutions to potential students in a practical way. The emphasis is on the financing of education, and on how best to make an application for higher education.
Specialists from the British Council and the St Cyril and Methodius Foundation will provide information on applying for scholarships in the United Kingdom. Some of the universities will also present their scholarship programs.
The exhibition will also present a range of opportunities for secondary education abroad: at boarding schools, that enjoy a growing popularity in Bulgaria; MBA and Master's programs; courses in business foreign languages; preparation for GMAT, TOEL, IELTS; all will be presented and discussed at the one-day expo.
The event targets managers, young professionals and students in the higher grades with an interest in further education. it also hopes to attract the parents of school children in the higher grades.
Admission is free, with pre-registration on Begin Group’s web site, at: www.begin-edu.com. The exhbition opens at 11 am, and runs until 5 pm.
