Rihanna is the Richest Female Singer in the World
Rihanna is the richest lady in the music world.
Five hours before her much awaited appearance on stage in the Bulgarian capital Sofia, the pop queen Madonna has reportedly arrived in the city at 4 pm.
Earlier in the day organizers said the timing and route of her arrival and departure are being strictly kept in secret.
"Nobody knows when she will arrive in Bulgaria," Dimitar Kovachev, chief executive of Sofia Music Enterprises, organizers of the concert, told the Bulgarian National Radio.
The singer arrived in the country on a private plane, but the hour of its landing was not disclosed even to the organizers.
The same lack of clarity holds true about the start of the concert, which organizers attribute to Madonna's "wayward ways".
"We will wait for her as long as she wants us to," Kovachev said, adding half-jokingly that she may stay in Bulgaria for no more than fifteen minutes after the end of the show.
The concert, at Sofia's Vasil Levski Stadium, is expected to be attended by about 50,000 people. Madonna will arrive in Sofia following a concert in neighboring Romania, on Wednesday.
Almost all tickets - costing up to BGN 150 (GBP 67) - have already been sold, organisers said.
