An automobile went astray, filliped over and crashed on the railroad tracks not far from the city of Turgovishte.
The incident happened late Friday night on a bridge near the village of Pogoritsa, in the vicinity of Turgovishte. According to police information, three individuals traveled in the "Lancha" automobile in the time of the accident.
Police says the most probable cause is speeding. The driver lost control over the car, which flipped, broke the bridge's metal guardrail and fell on the railroad underneath the bridge. The 23-year-old driver from the village of Makovo, have been thrown out of the car during the hellish flight, and died on the spot.
The two other passengers - a 28-year-old male from the village of Makovo and a 21-year old from the village of Krushno miraculously escaped death by being able to free themselves from the car just minutes before a passenger train crashed into it, turning it to a pile of metal.
