Thirteen people have been injured during the past year by stones thrown against trains across Bulgaria, director of the security department of the state railways BDZ, Geno Genov, reported.

In 90 percent of the cases, the attackers are children below 16, Mr Genov added.

BDZ say they lose millions in repairs every year due to the attacks, which happen mostly nearby Roma ghettos.
