Bulgaria's Neykova Wins Single Sculls Quarter-finals at Beijing Olympics

One of Bulgaria's best rowers, Rumyana Neykova, managed to reach the semi-final round in the single sculls after winning the third heat in 7:22.37 at Beijing Olympics on Monday.
The second place was taken by the representative of the hosting country of China Zhang Xiuyun, who crossed the final line 7:23.30 after the start.
The third fastest rower, Pippa Savage from Australia, covered the two-kilometer distance for 7:34.03.
The semi-final competition is to be held on Wednesday.
