8 Romanians Robbed on Bulgarian Highway
Crime | September 25, 2007, Tuesday // 00:00
A Romanian minivan with eight people on board has been robbed and set on fire in the early hours of Tuesday on the highway near the Bulgarian town of Stara Zagora, Darik News reported.
The minivan pulled over after a car, seemingly a traffic police patrol, as it had all the needed identifications, signaled the driver.
Three masked men got out of the fake police patrol, threatened the eight Romanian nationals, forced them out of the car and stole their money, jewelery and their ID. After pilfering all they could, the masked individuals set the minivan on fire and speeded off.
