Several unknown men have beaten up a trolley bus driver in Sofia, just a few days ahead of the planned strike of all public transport workers.
The driver of the line 9 trolley bus called the depot to say he was coming back after he let out the passengers at the last stop of his route around four in the afternoon. One girl was still in the bus, speaking on her mobile phone.
A BMW cut in front of the public transport vehicle at the Slivnitsa Boulevard and several men went in and assaulted the driver. He was taken to Pirogov Emergency Institute.
