Sofia to be Paralysed over Public Transport Driver's Strike

Sofia citizens will be left without any public transport on May 15 because the drivers will go on strike.
The decision of the public transport drivers was confirmed by the CEO of the Sofia Transport Company Nikolay Kostov on Monday.
The strike starts at midnight on May 15 and will continue until drivers' demands are not satisfied. They demand higher salaries and better working environment.
Because of the strike Sofia faces a public transport paralysis that will leave at least half of city's population will have to use taxies or the busses of the few private bus lines.
