The staff of a central Sofia hospital joined Thursday the campaign in support of the five nurses and a Palestinian doctor, sentenced to death in Libya. Doctors, nurses and hospital attendants from the First City Hospital of Sofia put on their lapels a ribbon with the Bulgarian flag and the words "You are not alone" inscribed on it in Bulgarian and English. The campaign was initiated by Darik Radio, the Standart Newspaper, and private bTV channel. It aims to draw the attention of people worldwide and make them aware of the plight of the Bulgarian nurses, while the country is in the spotlight during the celebrations of the EU accession.
