The management of Bulgaria's Levski FC has issued an order that will probably ruin the holiday feasts for many of the team's players.
Those who show up at the first training session in January weighing so much as a kilo more will have to pay heavy fines, Bulgarian sports media announced.
Each additional kilogram will cost the plumper player EUR 5,000, five times more than it did before.
Many of the team's main players will have a rest of over a month due to injuries and traumas and the management is obviously worried that some may relish in the holiday feasts way too much.
