Bulgaria opened Tuesday an informational centre for recruiting soldiers for the country's professional army that would replace the mandatory military service. Defense Minister Vesselin Bliznakov inaugurated the centre in the Military Club of Karlovo in central Bulgaria. Those willing to join the army can acquire more information on how to apply and what spots are open. They can also undergo a preliminary medical check right in the informational centre. The centre is the first of its kind in Bulgaria, and will be followed by 47 more all over the country.
