Liverpool, Arsenal, Tottenham in Rivalry for Bulgarian Striker

Bayer Leverkusen striker Dimitar Berbatov is being tracked by Liverpool, Arsenal and Tottenham, The People newspaper reported Sunday.

Just a day earlier Berbatov's manager Emil Danchev said that the future of the talented Bulgarian striker will be clear by April 25. Danchev revealed that many leading football clubs have declared their interest in the Bulgarian striker. "All I can say that so far Tottenham are closer to the achieving their aim", Danchev commented for the state television BNT.

There are reports that Tottenham are lining up a GBP10 million bid for Berbatov.

The Bulgarian forward has scored 16 goals in the Bundesliga this season and has attracted attention from several clubs outside Germany.
