It is only a legend that my father was poisoned by Hitler, Bulgarian Prime Minister Saxe-Coburg and son of Bulgarian King Boris III said in a live 30 minutes long interview for the German NTV. Saxe-Coburg said that his family has investigated whether King Boris III was poisoned by Hitler in 1943. A German doctor has helped them but they have never found any proof that Boris III died from poison. Saxe-Coburg talked about memories from his childhood. “ This that I came back to Bulgaria in 1996, later than my mother and sister was a well though political move,” the Bulgarian Prime Minister admitted. He pointed out that for the time being the two priorities for Bulgaria are to join NATO and EU afterwards. “I am Prime Minister of Bulgaria and I am proud with that,” Saxe-Coburg answered to a question whether he doesn’t secretly dream of becoming King of Bulgaria.
