Transport and Telecommunications Minister Nikolay Vassilev was granted Thursday the "Harry Potter - Privatization Witchery" symbolic award for the sale of state telecom BTC for the price of "few diesel carriages".

Amid pitch-voiced discussion on the opposition's non-confidence vote in Parliament, socialists placed yellow-coloured T-shirts saying "Bulgaria Ltd - Cash & Carry" on the chairs of absent ministers and granted them special awards.

They also announced the start of a contest "yellow T-shirt" for high achievements in the field of moral and said that a total of eight awards will be given out.

First award was decided to decorate Prime Minister Simeon Saxe-Coburg for "immediate and non-symbolical profiteering" accusing him of BGN 300 M wealth-making and BGN 30 M unpaid taxes over the last four years.

Second award "Brady Delchev" was granted to Finance Minister Milen Velchev for "establishing the longest hotel chain though swap operations".

The Snatch Muleva Invest Holding went to Deputy Prime Minister and Economy Minister Lidia Shuleva for her alleged attempts to turn Bulgaria into "clear and sacred company of limited liabilities."

The scandal with highway concession deserved the Lovers Alley award for Regional Development Minister Valentin Tserovski.

Awards were granted also to Environment Minister Dolores Arsenova, Culture Minister Bozhidar Abrashev, Foreign Minister Solomon Passy and Health Minister Slavcho Bogoev.
