The 28-year old Armenian national Edward Manukyan that was detained in connection to the murder of one of the guards at Bulgaria's trade office in Russian capital Moscow in the night of September 14 made full confessions, Russian police officials reported. It was announced that the arrestee worked in the nearby service station.

The body of 25-year-old guard Borislav Chalkov, a Bulgarian national, was found in the morning of September 14 around 10:20 Moscow time in the sentry room at Bulgaria's trade office. It was discovered by the other guard at the mission - a former doctor at Bulgaria's emergency hospital Pirogov - who ascertained the death. Chalkov was diagnosed with fatal head trauma and knife wounds.

There were traces of an assaulter breaking into the office from the back garden. It was later proven that technical equipment worth BGN 100,000 has been stolen from Bulgaria's trade office.

Russian police reported that Manukyan tried to sell the stolen technical equipment on Wednesday, which led to his arrest.

Unofficial data claimed that the girlfriend of the Armenian national worked in one of the companies in Bulgaria's trade office.
