At present, Tang Zhongyi leads the rankings with 3 points, closely followed by Russian player Aleksandra Goryachkina with 2.5 points. Salimova, alongside Indian Vaishali Rameshbabu and Russian Kateryna Lagno, sits tied with 2 points each, poised to make her mark in the tournament.
