Arab TV Channels Show Message from Saddam to Iraqi Police

The Al-Jazeera and Abu Dhabi TV channels showed a handwritten document said to be a message from Saddam to Iraq's secret police telling them to stop fighting U.S.-led forces.
The word "cease-fire" was written in Arabic at the top of the document, but it also said Iraq had been victorious against the invaders.
There was nothing to indicate whether the document was genuine or when it had been written.
Abu Dhabi television aired pictures Friday of what it said was Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein in the streets of Baghdad last week being greeted by a cheering crowd of Iraqis.
The film is said to have been shot April 9, the day U.S forces moved into Baghdad.
If authentic the footage would deny reports that Iraqi leader Saddam Hussein has been killed during the night of April 7-8 as a result of a bombing raid on the al-Mansur district of Baghdad.
This was announced in an interview with al-Jazeera television by Amr Naffah, a well-known Iraqi journalist who is close to Iraqi government circles.
