In Bulgaria, The Center for World University Rankings ranked Sofia University first, and its overall score in the ranking is 71.2.
The methodology of The Center for World University Rankings includes seven indicators, grouped in four areas:
quality of education, measured by the number of university graduates who have won major academic honors, relative to the size of the university (25 percent);
employment of graduates, measured by the number of graduates of the university who have held senior management positions in the world's largest companies, compared to the size of the university / 25 percent /;
quality of university teachers, measured by the number of teachers who have won major academic awards / 10 percent /;
level of research.
