Bulgaria: Covid-19 in Bulgaria: Sad Record – 217 Fatalities in 24 Hours

In the last 24 hours 2,434 new cases of coronavirus have been documented in our country. Just over 15% of the 15,952 tests taken were positive.

The most are the new cases in the capital (522) and in the regions of Plovdiv, Stara Zagora and Ruse, according to the data of the Single Information Portal updated at midnight, BNR reported.

In 24 hours 217 people died of Covid-19.

Across the country, 8,834 people diagnosed with Covid-19 are hospitalized. Of these, 780 patients are in intensive care units.

There are 4,244 people cured.

According to the National Information System in Bulgaria, the novel coronavirus was found in 12,884 medical personnel, as 35 new cases have been recorded in the past 24 hours.

Over the past 24 hours, 7,044 doses of vaccines have been given. Thus, their total number is now 645,486. Vaccinated with a second dose, there are now just over 131,000 people.
