One-Fifth of Bulgarians Believe COVID-19 Threat was Exaggerated

In the past 24 hours, 2,957 new cases of coronavirus infection have been diagnosed in the country, data from the single information portal shows.
Yesterday, 16,083 tests were made - 9,166 PCR and 6,917 antigen. A tad over 18% were positive. As of April 9, there were 71,227 active cases. In hospitals across the country, 10,404 patients with coronavirus are treated. There are 813 patients in intensive care.
During the day, 19,063 doses of vaccines were given, and since the beginning of the immunization campaign - 552,516. There are now 110,077 people who have received a second jab.
The disease has claimed the lives of 136 people in the last 24 hours, 3,314 are cured.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, there have been 14,170 casualties in our country, 281,979 people have been rehabilitated.
So far, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus in the country is 367,376, of which 12,451 are medics.
The most are the newly registered cases in Sofia, Varna and Plovdiv.
