171 new cases of COVID-19 have been proven in Bulgaria over the past 24 hours. The number of cured is almost twice as high - 325, according to data from the Unified Information Portal. The PCR tests performed were 5108.

Most newly infected per day were registered in Varna - 33, followed by Sofia - 31 and Blagoevgrad - 23.

11 of the infected patients died in the last 24 hours. Thus, the number of those who lost the battle with the infection reached 482.

The total number of people infected in Bulgaria since the beginning of the pandemic is already 13,893. 4932 of the cases are still active. There are 834 hospitalized patients, 63 of them in intensive care units.
