The Ministry of Health will prepare a report with the necessary measures to be taken in case of an increase in coronavirus cases.

The minister Kostadin Angelov said that our country will participate in a joint European Union procurement for a vaccine, which is expected in mid-August.

“We want to provide 2 million vaccines for Bulgarian citizens, guided by the principle of the most vulnerable groups. These are people over the age of 65, people with chronic diseases and who are in the risk group for coronavirus infection and all those employees and medical professionals who work on the front line and are in direct contact with these patients. I would like to emphasize that once this vaccine is available and provided, vaccination will be absolutely voluntary. “ - said Prof. Kostadin Angelov.  / bnt.bg
