After weeks of research and careful selection for the most esteemed personalities of the last year, the editorial team at Novinite voted for the Personality in the News 2018. This year, for the first time we introduce the Honorary Ambassadors of Novinite. We believe while the final result could not encompass the vast amount of people we covered during the passed year, the selection is representative for some of the most crucial events and achievements that signify 2018.

Stefan Dimitrov – responsible for the creation of the airbg.info project and provoking action both among the citizens and institutions of Sofia and the country for the protection of air and environmental cleanliness.
It is a topic that concerns us all and a platform like airbg.info is a significant step towards a healthier environment, as their goal is to cover all of the populated areas with measuring stations. This will enable us all to know the levels of particulate matter in the air at all times.
Honorary Ambassadors of Novinite for 2018

Plamen Russev - for developing Webit project and promoting Bulgarian IT achievements globally.
Bulgaria has become only the third country in the world to appoint a Goodwill Ambassador for Digital Affairs. The role is being awarded to none other than Plamen Russev.
Russev has previously made his name in the Bulgarian tech scene as a result of recent growth in the Webit community and events. The annual gathering brings together a wide array of policymakers, technology leaders, executives, entrepreneurs and founders in a vast, newly-built venue that spans over ten different locations in Sofia.

Georgi Toshev - for his articles, interviews and links of International personalities and lifestyle stories and also promoting Bulgarian culture abroad.
He became popular with the show "The Other Bulgaria". The most traveling Bulgarian journalist, visited 186 countries around the world. He is also producer of ''Before Noon'', ''The Unknown'' and '' Like in Cinema'' on bTV.

Petar Stoychev - For becoming champion of swimming in icy waters of Antarctica and his overall promotion of Bulgarian sports achievements globally.
He is one of the greatest marathon swimmers of all time and an honor swimmer in the International Marathon Swimming Hall of Fame.
