A group of 10 Ukrainian soldiers who received injuries during the fighting in eastern Ukraine was sent to Bulgaria for rehabilitation, the local information portal Novoye tempora reported, quoted by Focus Agency.
On 9 June, a group of 10 people hurt in combat operations in Eastern Ukraine headed to Bulgaria for a two-week treatment in the framework of the NATO Trust Fund for Medical Rehabilitation. This initiative is based on an agreement between the Bulgarian Ministry of Defense and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine within the framework of the NATO Trust Fund project, "the official statement said.
The group includes combat participants who have suffered wounds, injuries, or other health problems during combat operations.
Bulgaria is a leading country within the project of the NATO Trust Fund in the field of medical rehabilitation in Ukraine and plans to accept about 300 injured Ukrainian soldiers in the next two years. On the ninth of the month a new group would be sent to the military-medical hospital in the town of Hissar.
