Bulgaria: Proposed Law Seeks to Ban Energy Drink Sales to Minors Under 18
A new legislative proposal in Bulgaria aims to prohibit the sale, purchase, and provision of energy drinks to individuals under 18 years of age
The first Sofia International Literary Festival for children and youngsters starts on 18th of April in the Youth Theater in Sofia.
The festival is part of the cultural programme of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU and presents contemporary European literature for the younger readers in its genre and cultural diversity.
The event takes place within the framework of the seventh campaign "The Crusade of the Books" and is organized by the Association "Bulgarian Book". Guests from France, Denmark, Hungary, the UK and Germany will be visiting.
The festival events will be free-of-charge in the premises of the Youth Theater. The opening this morning started with a meeting with the writer Viktor Samuilov.
The programme includes an exhibition of 16 Bulgarian illustrators, games, a workshop for writing and collage drawings, and a studio for illustrations.
