The United States and the European Union have the largest influence in the Republic of Macedonia. These are the results of the sociological survey of the Institute for Democracy and the Conrad Adenauer Foundation.

The survey was conducted in December. It involved 1,100 people. About 41 per cent of the US respondents are the largest foreign policy maker in the Republic of Macedonia. Second is the European Union with 38.1 per cent. Russia is considered a factor of only 3.7 per cent of Macedonians.

According to the vast majority of citizens of the Republic of Macedonia, the European Union is the largest donor of the country. This opinion is shared by 42.2 per cent of the citizens. After that, they ranked the United States with 16.6 per cent and Turkey with 8.2 per cent.

The judicial system has the lowest rating of trust among the Macedonians.
