Bulgaria: A Train Ran over a Man in Montana Area Archive

Serious accident with a passenger train, moving from the village of Borovtsi to Balgovo village, announced the General Directorate of the Ministry of Interior - Montana. A report of the incident was filed on March 20, at 13:50 at the Berkovitsa police station.

In the case of the movement of a passenger electric train with the number 31 - 035/056, the 51-year-old driver from Vratsa noticed the body of a man who was in a lying position on the rails. A maneuver followed by the train driver to stop the passenger train, but the locomotive struck the body of the man.

It was found that this is a 43-year-old resident of the village of Borovtsi. An on-site sample was made to the driver with a technical means of alcohol, the sample being negative. The body of the deceased was sent for an autopsy at the hospital in Montana.
