Bulgaria: Protests in Poland Continue for Second Consecutive Night

Protests in Poland continue for a second consecutive night over the decision of the government to forbid the access of journalists to the plenary sessions, reported BNT.

A group of opposition deputies who have been blocking Parliament since Friday circulated a video recording which calls on citizens to continue the protests.

The deputies announced that they will not leave Parliament until Tuesday.

The ruling party, on its part, accused them of trying to take over power and of violating the constitution.

Polish Prime Minister Beata Szydlo described the actions of the opposition as “scandalous” and inducing radical political passions.
