Bulgaria: Chances of Italy Leaving Eurozone at 19.3% for November BGNES

An investor survey of the Sentix agency has shown that the chances of Italy leaving the Eurozone in the next 12 months have increased to 19.3% in November, reaching their highest level since June 2012 – the peak of the debt crisis in the region.

The survey of the agency based in Frankfurt became a fact just days before the upcoming key referendum on constitutional changes in Italy on December 4. There are apprehensions that a vote against proposed reforms could lead to the resignation of PM Mateo Renzi, followed by a political and even banking crisis.

A similar survey by Sentix last month showed that the probability of Italy leaving the Eurozone is higher than Greece doing so. According to the survey, the probability of Greece leaving the Eurozone is a mere 8.48%.
