After a three-day strike by Lufthansa pilots, the German company is already operating, said public broadcaster BNR on November 26.
Sofia Airport confirmed that earlier this morning, two airplanes of Lufthansa left Sofia to Munich and Frankfurt.
Late last night, the pilots' union announced they want to reject all the proposals of the German company to increase their wages by over 4%.
The union also said that any future strikes will be announced 24 hours in advance.
The company has said that each strike day costs EUR 10 M, adding that the damage to its image cannot be calculated.
Lesch from the Cologne Institute for Economic Research noted that all strikes that have hit the company since September will cost Lufthansa in total around €100 million - and this will come out of money that could go towards higher wages or investments.
