The Haskovo District Court has released five of the border policemen and customs officers who were detained during the operation at the Kapitan Andreevo border cross check point in September on bail of BGN 5,000, reported BNR.
The same bail was set for another one of the accused who has been placed under house arrest.
The six of them are among the 11 employees accused of demanding and receiving bribes from people passing through Kapitan Andreevo.
The arrest operation was followed by a similar action at the Lesovo border cross check point.
