Bulgaria: Turkish PM: Turkey May Introduce Limited Resort to Capital Punishment BGNES

Turkish Prime Minister Binali Y?ld?r?m stated that Turkey is considering the option of introducing a limited resort to capital punishment if an agreement is reached between the ruling Justice and Development Party and other political formations, reported BGNES.

“If there is consensus with other political parties on this demand made by the people… certain limited agreements may be reached,” stated the PM during a speech in Ankara.

According to him, the measure will not be applied retrospectively.
