Bulgaria: Syria Threatens To Shoot Down Turkish Aircraft in Breach of Its Airspace BGNES

Syrian military stated on Thursday night that they will shoot down every Turkish aircraft that enters Syrian airspace, reported bTV.

This comes as a reaction to the air strikes carried out by Turkey in northern Syria on Thursday night, reported Reuters.

“Every attempt of Turkish fighter aircraft to breach Syrian airspace once more will be resisted and aircraft will be shot down via all means available,” read the statement of the Syrian army’s high command.

Late on Wednesday night, Turkey carried out air strikes against Kurdish fighters who are allies of the militias supported by the USA. Damscus described this as “open aggression”.
