Bulgaria: Bulgarian Economy Minister Lukarski Discusses Possible Partnership With Walmart BGNES

The option for the delivery of Bulgarian goods to the stores of the largest commercial chain in the world – Walmart – was discussed by Bulgarian Minister of Economy Bozhidar Lukarski at a meeting with the Vice President for International Government Affairs of the company Paul Dyck at the headquarters of Walmart.

The potential possibilities for including a partnership with Bulgaria in the future plans of the company were discussed at the meeting. The delivery of Bulgarian products to Walmart stores would lead to a significant increase in exports to the US, considering the fact that the company has 6,500 stores in the USA, reported the Ministry of Economy.

Lukarski presented the advantages which Bulgaria offers in terms of logistical development of the base of the company here as a gateway to the markets of the EU, the Middle East and Africa.
