Bulgaria: Medicines To Become Cheaper As Of January 1, 2017 BGNES

Medicines will become cheaper as of January 1, 2017 and not as previously envisioned on September 1, 2016.

On Tuesday, the government adopted a decision to postpone the entering into force of two texts in the regulation for the prices of medicines at the request of Health Minister Moskov. The postponement will allow traders and pharmacies to adapt more easily to the new rules on prices and avoid a shortage of medicines, reported the government press centre.

According to Moskov, in this way, there will be no problems for the patients concerning a possible lack of medicines, while pharmacies will have more time to sell already imported medicines at their current prices.
