Bulgaria: BSP To Choose Its Candidate for Vice President Saturday

Today, BSP is organising a national convention at which the candidate of the party for Vice President is expected to be approved.

The nominee will participate in the campaign with the candidate for President General Rumen Radev who will be nominated by an initiative committee headed by the Vice Chairman of BSP Stefan Danailov and supported by the left-wing. Since Radev is not a member of the party, the left-wing insists that he run together with a recognisable person from BSP.

After an inside survey, it turns out that the leader of the left wing of BSPYanaki Stoilov and the Eurodeputy Iliyana Yotova have the most nominations within the party.

The plenum will be attended by members of the Executive Bureau and the National Council of BSP, deputies from the party, the heads of municipal and regional structures, as well as mayors supported by the left wing.
