Bulgaria and other EU countries have to admit they cannot guarantee work and pay desired by each one of the migrants arriving, President Rosen Plevneliev has said.

On a visit to Prague for a meeting with Czech counterpart Milos Zeman - the first time they hold talks since he assumed the presidency in 2012 - he called on leaders to draw the line between refugees fleeing war and economic migrants seeking better opportutinites.

Plevneliev, while recalling Bulgaria was among the first countries to name the migrant crisis in realistic terms, he has reiterated Europe has to work toward both a more effective border protection and a solution that would address the core reasons for the migrant influx.
